Emergency response to flooding in Malaysia

Rainfall with an intensity of 627 millimetres, the highest in 55 years, strook Malaysian state Kelantan on 18 December 2022. We cooperated with our local partner, Azeehan, to provide humanitarian aid for victims of the flooding. On 26 December, our week-long program began.

Volunteers went from house to house and handed out essentials: rice, canned food, bottled drinks, biscuits, and other provisions for at least one hundred and fifty families. Despite the circumstances, they got an opportunity to spend time together and celebrate the New Year.

Azeehan enjoyed our cooperation: ‘I would like to thank OctaFX for providing emergency aid to the victims of the flooding in Kelantan. This really meant a lot to all those affected,’ We are also grateful for his role in providing aid to those who needed it most. People like him inspire us.
