To celebrate 2025, we funded the installation of box libraries in nine Indonesian rural schools in various provinces. Over its five-year lifespan, the project will benefit around 1,800 younger students, who will have free access to a selection of age-appropriate books.

In December 2024, Malaysia suffered devastating floods that left tens of thousands temporarily displaced. As part of our New Year charity project, we provided emergency kits for the victims to help them endure the disaster.

In Nigeria, our New Year 2025 charity initiative included helping a local businesswoman and transforming the life of a family struggling with educational expenses.

STATUS 200, a coding bootcamp for Malaysian youths organised by Octa and Ideas International, successfully ended last November. The twelve most dedicated students reached the very end, achieving the skill level of junior coders in just over seven months.

In August 2024, we carried out a charity initiative to help underserved local communities in Kanke and Kwaikong, Nigeria. We provided them with access to pure water and better education opportunities, driving lasting change and empowering growth.

In Nigeria, we implemented a charity project to educate Nigerian women and provide them with work tools. Our goal is to help them boost their small businesses and achieve a better standard of living.

We helped the local community outline and approach the problem of the region’s diminishing water supply by funding the Bali Water Protection project.

This year, we sponsored the coding bootcamp STATUS 200 in Kuala Lumpur, which provided a group of young Malaysian men and women with a unique opportunity to leap towards future careers in a sought-after field.

Octa, a global financial broker, conducted charity initiatives in Indonesia and Malaysia to provide festive meals to the underprivileged during the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha.

As a part of our Ramadan-inspired charity work, we sponsored a project in West Java, Indonesia, assisting in the renovation of a local school.
