Forex: EUR/USD trades above 1.3050

The Euro is trading higher today against the USD and after rising around 30 pips from 1.3025 in the latest hour, the EUR/USD has touched levels above the 1.3050 area. Currently the pair is trading at 1.3050, 0.43% above opening price.

According to the FXstreet.com trend index, the EUR/USD is experiencing a slightly bullish trend with the CCI and Momentum indicators pointing higher while the MACD and RSI are neutral and the Stochastic is bearish.

Next resistance could be at MA 200 hours at 1.3060 ahead the 1.3100 (psychological level) and 1.3122 (100-day SMA). On the other hand, below 1.3000 next supports align at 1.2955 (Mar 8 low) followed by 1.2930 (Dec 11 low).

Wall Street closes higher; DJIA and S&P post 7-day win streak

The US stocks market closed Monday with gains after recovering initial losses on the back of concerns above weakness in China and Europe. The Dow closed at record high for 5th straight day.
